Payment terms will be established upon new account application approval. Payment terms are certified check, cashiers check, or credit card (visa and mastercard). A charge of $20.00 will apply to all returned checks.

Freight terms are F.O.B. American Edge, Paramount , CA .

Title passes to customer at our dock. Shippers responsibility is limited to proof of delivery to carrier.

All claims must be in writing and within 5 days of receipt of goods. We will issue credit only when discrepancies are supported by documentation which verifies such claims.

Returns for any reason cannot be made without written consent by American Edge. Supporting documentation must accompany claims for style/color/size substitution, overages, etc. Upon approval, a return authorization number will be provided.

Merchandise that is received and not authorized will be refused and returned at the customers expense. Merchandise more than one year old is not acceptable for return. Regardless of the reason for the return, no handling/processing/service charges will be permitted. Freight charges for unauthorized refusals will be billed to the customer.

American Edge will not participate in the practice of accepting chargebacks for Handling, Administrative Fees, Service Fees, or Penalties for “P.O. Violations” or “Shipping Errors”.

We require at least a 30 day shipping window based on start ship and stop ship dates. We do not recognize “Received By” or “In House By” dates.

Proof of Deliveries must be requested within 30 days from the invoice date. There will be a $10.00 fee for every valid P.O.D.

Discounts and/or anticipation is not allowed.

We reserve the right to back order/split ship on a purchase order if necessary.

We do not accept cancellations.

Unless previously agreed by the company in writing, the customer shall not dispose of the goods other than by way of retail sale to the public, in the normal course of business. Customer specifically acknowledges and agrees that trade practices known commonly as “diverting”, “transhipping” or “parallel import/export” are prohibited by terms of this agreement.

American Edge goods can be placed in authorized locations only.

The use of our name and/or logo is prohibited without our written consent.
ANY VARIANCE OF THE ABOVE POLICIES MAY RESULT IN AN INTERRUPTION OF SHIPMENTS, AND MAY LEAD TO THE TERMINATION OF OUR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP. ALL SALES ARE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AMERICAN EDGE’S TRADE POLICIES AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AGREEMENT.
